This policy explains how KinderHub handles information in its public website and childcare applications.
The website handles business contact details submitted for a demo. The childcare applications handle account names and email addresses, provider-authorized child and family records, attendance and care entries, family messages, incident and consent records, invoices and receipts, notification device tokens, and staff-selected child photos and captions. KinderHub does not use advertising identifiers or collect card numbers in these applications.
Information is used to authenticate accounts, provide childcare and family communication features, enforce role and relationship access, deliver requested notifications, support users, prevent abuse, meet security and audit obligations, and respond to privacy requests. Childcare providers determine which authorized staff and connected family members may access provider records.
KinderHub uses contracted infrastructure and delivery providers to host Canadian production data, authenticate users, store approved media, scan uploads for safety, and deliver notifications or operational email. Information is not sold and is not shared for third-party advertising. It may be disclosed when required by law, to protect users, or to operate the service under an approved provider agreement.
KinderHub uses encryption in transit, scoped authorization, verified accounts, multi-factor protection for privileged access, application attestation, audit records, rate limiting, media quarantine and review, backups, and access expiry. Records are retained only for the applicable operational, contractual, legal, safety, billing, and backup periods. Verified deletion requests are completed unless a documented legal, safety, billing, or regulatory hold applies.
Signed-in users can request access, correction, export, or deletion from Privacy & data in the application. A provider may verify identity before acting and will explain any applicable hold.
